User Identification and Chat History
User information is stored in cookies when HaptikSDK is initialised for an user. A subsequent visit would treat the user as a returning user. If cookies are deleted or expired the user will be treated as a new user.
User chat history is stored in the localStorage web component of the browser. If localStorage is not supported or is deleted, chat history will not be visible for a returning user.
